A major oil and gas company is looking for a Flowback Operator for their facility located near Dawson Creek, British Columbia. This position will run on a 7/7 or 14/14 shift with 12-hour day/night rotation. Candidates local to the area are encouraged to apply as no accommodations are provided.

Your Role:
As a Flowback Operator, you will be a crucial part of the well completion process.
Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Expert Flowback Operations: Manage the flowback of fluids and gases from wells post-fracturing with precision and efficiency. Operate and maintain key equipment such as separators, sand traps, and tanks.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of flowback equipment. Ensure accurate calibration of gauges and meters.
  • Data Analysis: Record and analyze well performance data, preparing detailed reports to communicate findings to supervisors and engineering teams.
  • Well Start Ups & Commissioning:  Set up and calibrate wellhead equipment, separators, and flowlines. Conduct pressure tests, leak checks, and functional tests on all systems. Establish and monitor the initial flow of fluids to stabilize the well.
  • Wire Lining: overseeing wireline operations; logging, perforating, and setting up downhole equipment
  • Solving Frac & Well Issues: Identifying and addressing problems related to hydraulic fracturing and well integrity to ensure optimal performance and safety in oil and gas production.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Valid Standard First Aid & H2S Alive
  • Previous experience in flowback operations or well testing.
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas production processes and equipment.
  • Clean driving abstract required
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various worksite locations.
  • Capable of passing pre-employment drug & alcohol test
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
