We are dedicated to serving the oil and gas sector across western and northern Canada, as well as selected international markets.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Flowback Operator to join our team. This role is essential in the well completion process, ensuring the efficient management of fluids and gases post-fracturing. The position operates on a 7/7 or 14/14 shift with a 12-hour rotation, and candidates from the local area are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Flowback Operator, your duties will include:

  • Flowback Management: Oversee the controlled release of fluids and gases from wells after hydraulic fracturing, ensuring operational precision. You will operate and maintain critical equipment, including separators, sand traps, and storage tanks.
  • Maintenance Duties: Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on flowback equipment, ensuring all gauges and meters are accurately calibrated.
  • Performance Analysis: Gather and analyze data on well performance, preparing comprehensive reports to share insights with supervisors and engineering teams.
  • Well Commissioning: Set up and calibrate wellhead equipment and flowlines, performing necessary pressure tests and leak checks to ensure system integrity.
  • Wireline Operations: Supervise wireline activities, including logging and perforating, while setting up downhole equipment.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve challenges related to hydraulic fracturing and well integrity, ensuring optimal performance and safety in production.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Valid Standard First Aid & H2S Alive certifications.
  • Prior experience in flowback operations or well testing.
  • A solid understanding of oil and gas production processes and associated equipment.
  • A clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
  • The ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
