Nanometrics specializes in full-service, integrated solutions for studying artificial and natural seismicity, including turnkey seismic networks, industry-leading precision instrumentation, complete data processing, analysis services, and software applications.

The Role

Daily review of automatically-detected seismic events for real-time seismic monitoring systemsManually review and process large datasets from temporary seismic network deploymentsConfigure analysis tools with appropriate parameters for effective manual reviewPerform quality control (QC) of event catalog to point out anomalies and insightsGenerate reports on seismic activity and deliver to customersPerform seismic station noise analysis and reviewAnswer customer client inquiries and requestsUpdating customer portals with GIS map layersProvide feedback on Nanometrics data analysis tools and processes to drive bug fixes, design changes and usability improvementsArchive and organize seismic catalogs

What You Bring

Post-secondary degree in sciences or equivalent requiredStrong computer skillsExperience with large data sets is requiredBe able to and willing to support Network Operation Centre’s 24/7 on-call service
