**Job Title: Data Analyst**

**Job Summary**:
The Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organization by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets. They possess a keen analytical mindset, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities include gathering and processing data from various sources while ensuring its accuracy and integrity. Leveraging expertise in SQL and data visualization tools like PowerBI, the Data Analyst conducts in-depth analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and outliers. From scheduled reports to ad hoc presentations, findings are communicated effectively to stakeholders, with approaches tailored to meet their specific needs.
With knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse principles and data governance concepts, the Data Analyst ensures the company's data infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and compliant. Quality assurance is paramount, with regular audits conducted to maintain data integrity and reliability.
**Responsibilities**:
Data Collection and Processing:
- Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis.
- Work on refined (L) or semirefined data (Y) to extract meaningful insights.
Data Analysis:
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Perform statistical analyses to derive meaningful insights and draw actionable conclusions.
- Develop and implement data models and algorithms to address specific business questions.
Reporting and Visualization:
- Create clear and concise scheduled reports and dashboards using tools like PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Generate ad hoc reports in response to specific inquiries or emerging business needs.
- Utilize data visualization tools to present complex information in a visually appealing and understandable manner.
Business Requirements:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks.
- Assist in the creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) by providing insights and data-driven recommendations.
Presentation Creation:
- Develop presentations to summarize key findings, insights, and recommendations derived from data analysis.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor presentations to specific audience needs and preferences.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular audits of datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues to maintain a high standard of data integrity.
