Position Overview
Come join our team as our Investigator, Revenue Protection. In this role, you’ll lead our energy theft investigations to support the maintenance of company assets and revenue assurance. From time to time, you may be required to interact with law enforcement and potentially appear in court to represent our company.

In year 1, you will:
Conduct investigations and respond to law enforcement requests as required. Become familiar with our electric service territory, business and technical operations. Focus on collaboration within the Customer Service department.In year 2, you will:
Continue to build upon relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Provide training or education to staff regarding revenue protection activities.What it takes:
A diploma or degree in a related field, such as Law or Business, plus four to seven years experience in the electric industry with related field experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Previous law enforcement experience or demonstrated legal knowledge is considered an asset. Excellent and meticulous investigation skills. A demonstrated ability to exercise judgement and conduct investigations independently. Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
