What You’ll Do

You will assist in all aspects of design process, from researching trends to sample preparation. Help with fabric swatches, color palettes, and CAD needs, along with supporting the team in design meetings and presentations:

Research seasonal key trends, color, fabric, silhouette and innovation that is brand right Assist the Design Team with completing CAD illustrations and PLM BOMs accurately and on time Prepare and maintain design presentations and line sheets Attend and assist in fittings to ensure quality product and brand standards Help organize trims, lab dips, hand looms, strike offs and knit downs

What You Bring

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline Retail experience a strong asset Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office is essential Solid comprehension of garment construction, garment specifications and critical product construction Must have an eye for detail, color and creativity combined with fashion industry insight Highly organized and detail oriented, able to tackle multiple projects with varying scope and project teams Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
