To supervise and manage all plant operations and activities in area of responsibility to meet production goals, quality, cost, safety objectives while managing all operational activities related to the mill planning processes. In this position you will have the opportunity to:

Responsible for supervising, training, performance management preparation and communication of work schedules, and dailywork assignments. Includes duties from staff and self-development, coaching, counseling on performance feedback, up toinitiating and assisting with corrective action Assist and participate with hiring, interviewing, selection and orientation process Drives specific process improvement, cost reduction and continuous improvement projects, as directed Maintain, in conjunction with corporate data governance policies, the master data associated with the mill concerning BOM’s,Routings, Production Versions, and Material Masters Address and correct issues that arise during the confirmation process at the mill and verifying that the overall inventory levels arecorrect at the mill Manage team who will enter new production orders and communicate scheduling information and anticipated delivery dates tosales, customers and internal departments Manage team who will adjust production schedules to accommodate changes to customer orders and/or changes in productioncapacity Work with shipping to ensure appropriate delivery to customers Work with Production Superintendent to assure adequate production capacity and company resources to fulfill production orders Oversee the process to balance raw material receipts daily and perform raw material / finished goods inventory monthly Collaborate with Corporate Planner and Sales & Operations for Variance Management Collaborate with Corporate Planner on strategy execution and scheduling Maintain weekly to daily production planning and scheduling Coordinate WIP and finished goods production Responsible for planned order confirmation and reconciliation Prepare detailed reports and maintain records and documentation according to guidelines in a timely and accurate manner

What do I need to be successful?

Minimum 4 years manufacturing experience required; experience related to production planning, scheduling or materialspreferred 2+ years supervisory/management experience Ability to motivate, coach, lead and train direct reports through daily job assignments, team meetings, etc Knowledge of product line manufacturing processes Strong analytical skills; ability to apply basic math skills to calculate production requirements

Education

Associate’s Degree in Business, Production, Logistics, or related field requiredBachelor’s Degree preferred.
