 Bureau Veritas is looking for a  Laboratory Analyst to join our environmental laboratory in Ste-Foy, QC.

Your main responsibilities are:

To provide general support in the analysis of samples, and to perform complex sample preparation; Perform analyses on samples and complex samples preparation; Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure accuracy and quality of work; Ensure that quality control criteria are met for all reported data; Understand and troubleshoot analyses; Provide input to corrective action procedures; Ensure deadlines are met and that the equipment is appropriately maintained; Use summary reports to plan and organize work; Any other related tasks.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

Have a diploma and/or equivalence in a scientific field; Have experience in a laboratory (strong asset); Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Have good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills; Are dynamic, energetic, motivated and have a positive outlook.


Working conditions:

Work schedule: evening or night shift and weekends (depending on needs, possibility of overtime) Status: Full time, 37.5h/week
