About the Position:

Walters is recruiting a Co-op student to assist in the Detailing Department this September 2024, in the Walters Corporate Office. Walters Inc. will provide a unique experience for those looking to gain exposure in a medium size organization within the private sector.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:

Documenting all new drawings received and distributing to internal departments (project management, engineering, estimating) including blueprints, architectural, structural, etc.Update drawings and markups in the IMS (information management system).Reviewing information between internal software and make corrections as required.Attributing 3D model (Tekla Structures).Detailing tasks under guidance of Team Leader.

Position Requirements:

Enrollment in a Civil/Architectural Engineering program or another related steel detailing Co-op program.Candidates must have well developed interpersonal, organizational, and self-motivational skills and enjoy a position with a collaborative process.Students will enjoy working in a dynamic team environment and interacting with many stakeholders of the organization.
