We are looking for experiencedProject Managers to join our team on Calgary’s next largest project the CalgaryEvent Centre (CEC). CANA is an established company where processes andprotocols are in place, where the corporate structure allows nimbleness andadaptability.

The Role

These positions would be responsiblefor providing direction and responsibility for either Electrical, Structuraland/or Precast scopes. This will include costs, schedule, and qualityassurance. This position involves subcontract negotiations, liaison withowners, engineers, and sub-trades, and management of the technical andfinancial aspects of the contract. You will be the front-line CANA contact withconsultants and the Owner and will be responsible for promoting and projectingthe CANA image of efficiency, quality, and technical competence and fairmanagement of trades and suppliers.

What You Bring :

· Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering or Construction Management or Diploma in ArchitecturalTechnology. 

(Equivalencies will be considered).

· 5-10+years of progressive experience in the commercial construction industry as aProject Manager with progressive 

responsibility in the size and scope ofprojects.

· Electrical– experience leading electrical and coordinating low voltage scopes including:A/V, Video control, Broadcast 

cabling, IPTV, Access Control, Security, AudioSystems, Converged Network, Structured Cabling, etc.

· Structural– experience leading large scale structural steel and long span steel an asset.

· Precast– experience leading stadia and/or precast parking structures.

· Experienceleading these scope disciplines or other scopes such as civil, excavationshoring, 

mechanical, interior construction, or specialties on a large scalecommercial or stadium 

construction project considered an asset.

· Strongbackground with experience on projects over $200 million.

· Strongverbal and written communication skills.

· Excellentdocumentation and organizational skills.

· Strongcomputer skills.
