Join the Housing Programs team in the Bilingual Senior Specialist, Business Process Optimization position. In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of large, highly complex, enterprise-wide and/or high-risk planning projects aligned to corporate strategy and desired organizational outcomes. You will drive strategic excellence, enable the business to improve planning and ensure effective use of resources by solving complex problems.

What you’ll do : 

Provide professional guidance to leaders across CMHC in the integration and alignment of programs, plans, and priorities. Provide input and recommendations to strategic planning/work planning.  Provide advice and guidance to the senior leadership of the division regarding the alignment of strategic plans across the Housing Programs and Commercial Solutions sectors. Actively promote best practices and process improvement competencies and behaviours to CMHC and act as a change agent.  Lead the entire execution of projects using the process improvement methodology, including risk management.  Use various data collection plans and methods, measurement systems and tools, descriptive statistics, graphical representation, and statistical conclusions.  Convene and manage internal and external stakeholders to work together in the achievement of improved client experience, process excellence and organizational performance.  Conduct data analysis, hypothesis testing, risk analysis and management, gap analysis, and root cause analysis to ensure improvements align to the problem to be solved.  Identify and use various change management (e.g., ADKAR model) and conflict resolution techniques (e.g., coaching, mentoring, and intervention) to overcome resistance and group dynamics, including dominant and reluctant participants, group think, rushing to finish, and digressions.  Develop and execute plans for implementing proposed improvements, including conducting pilot tests or simulations, and evaluating results to select the optimum solution.

What you should have :

An undergraduate degree in a related field such as engineering, business administration, or commerce.  A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience in managing complex, cross-functional and/or high-risk projects.  A proven capacity to synthesize information from diverse sources, understand nuances, and create connections among stakeholders with varying objectives and perspectives.  An advanced ability to build and sustain relationships at the senior leadership and the working levels.  Solid negotiation, influencing, and leadership skills to obtain buy-in, build support, act as a catalyst for change and lead outcomes at multiple levels of the organization.  Bilinguism (French/English) 

It would be great if you also had :  

An ADKAR certification, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and/or PowerBi experience.
