General
A forty (40) hour per pay period, Part-TimePermanentSupportive Housing - Personal Support Worker (PSW) position is being offered in the Radiant Care Tabor Manor Supportive Housing department. The start date of this position is to be determined.


Scheduled Shifts
Line 7. Supportive Housing PSW FTE: 0.5333

WEEK #1

Monday 07:00-11:00

Tuseday 07:00-11:00

Wednesday 07:00-11:00

Friday 07:00-11:00

Saturday 07:00-11:00

WEEK #2

Sunday 07:00-11:00

Tuseday 07:00-11:00

Wednesday 07:00-11:00

Thursday 07:00-11:00

Friday 07:00-11:00

Qualifications

Qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to,

Training and education in caring for seniors in a community setting Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in a community setting Current CPR Certification an asset Valid PSW Certification

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
This posting has been posted within Radiant Care Tabor Manor and externally. Internal applicants will be given priority based on seniority. Duties and Responsibilities

Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

Provides safe and efficient personal care and homemaking for tenants including all (IADLS and ADLS) activities of daily living to ensure optimum physical, social, recreational, spiritual and psychological well-being Effectively communicates with tenants, staff and families Provides excellent customer service in a respectful, courteous and pleasant manner Provides individualized service Adapt to changing needs of tenants and be able to adjust service delivery, as required under the direction of the Supportive Housing Coordinator Observes and reports changes in tenant’s status Records necessary data on tenant’s health and provision of service Shares responsibility for care of equipment in the home and personal belongings of tenant’s  Works co-operatively with team members Participates in quality improvement activities, in-service sessions, training as required Performs other duties as assigned
