Description

:

* Design and implement robust backend solutions using Python, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability while developing RESTful APIs.

* Design and optimize SQL database schemas, writing efficient queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and storage.

* Take ownership of backend development tasks, identifying and resolving issues independently, and collaborating to address system integration challenges.

* Implement performance optimizations for backend processes and database queries, conducting regular monitoring for proactive maintenance.

* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for backend code, APIs, and database structures, ensuring clear communication with team members.

* Work closely with other IT professionals to seamlessly integrate backend components within the overall system architecture.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

* Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate (an asset)

* 5-7 years relevant experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Python.

* Familiarity with web frameworks such as FastAPI.

* Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

* Strong proficiency in SQL and database management using an ORM.

* Familiarity with version control systems.

* Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve complex backend challenges.

* Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
