Joignez-vous à la division Solutions Industrielles d’AtkinsRéalis et devenez partie prenante de notre équipe qui dessine et améliore les rouages des opérations de fabrication et des infrastructures au Canada, et dans le monde.

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) Ingénieur(e) en structures – Pylônes d’expérience motivé(e), qui veut jouer un rôle central dans au sein de notre équipe génie civil spécialisée en ligne de transmission haut voltage.

Votre rôle au sein de l'équipe :

Concevoir des pylônes en acier (en treillis et tubulaire), concevoir des structures en bois et en polymère; Concevoir les fondations (grillage d’acier, béton, pieux, pieux vissés, ancrage dans le roc, etc); Préparer les dessins de conception détaillée, calculs de connexion des structures ; Superviser les essais sur les pylônes ; Exécuter les études, écrire des rapports et préparer des spécifications ; Rester à jour sur les dernières technologies afin de les intégrer au processus de conception ; Coordonner le travail à l’interne ainsi qu’avec le client ; Réviser les calculs faits par d’autres ingénieurs et superviser le travail d’ingénieurs juniors ; Superviser le travail des techniciens et des concepteurs assignés sur les projets.

L'Ingénieur(e) en structures – Pylônes recherché(e):

Baccalauréat en. Sciences ou en Ingénierie en génie civil ou structurel; Expérience de 10 ans dans le domaine; Connaissance des logiciels PLS CADD, PLS TOWER, PLS POLE, Staad pro, L-Pile, RISA, et Foundation Analysis and Design (FAD); Membre en règle de l’ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, ou de l’Ontario, ou de la Colombie-Britannique; Disponible pour voyages d’affaires occasionnels; Le /la candidat (e) est en mesure de s’exprimer en anglais (à l’oral et à l’écrit) . La connaissance du français serait un atout

Join the Industrial Solutions division of AtkinsRéalis and become part of our team that designs and enhances the intricacies of manufacturing operations and infrastructure in Canada and around the world.

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with experience in pylons, who wants to play a central role in our specialized civil engineering team for high-voltage transmission lines.

Your role within the team:

Design of lattice and tubular steel, wood, or polymer structures; Design foundations (steel mesh, concrete, piles, screw piles, rock anchoring, etc.); Prepare detail design drawings, calculate structure connections; Supervise tests on pylons; Conduct studies, write reports, and prepare specifications; Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies to integrate them into the design process; Coordinate work internally and with the client; Review calculations done by other engineers and supervise the work of junior engineers; Supervise the work of technicians and designers assigned to projects.

The ideal candidate

Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering in civil or structural engineering. 10 years of experience in the field; Knowledge of PLS CADD, PLS TOWER, PLS POLE software, Staad Pro, L-Pile, RISA, and Foundation Analysis and Design (FAD); Registered member of Engineers in Quebec or Ontario, or British Columbia; Available for occasional business travel; The candidate is able to communicate in English (oral and written)*. Knowledge of French would be an asset.
