Starting date: April/May 2024

**About the position**:
Reporting to the Director of Operations and Alumni Relations, the intern will provide administrative and program support to various events, special projects and alumni activities. The intern will work with various team members of the Foundation, school and volunteer community, including the TFS Alumni Association.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative and project management support for alumni and Foundation programming, including events, communications (inc.social media) and volunteer management.
- Assist in implementation of a range of events in collaboration with alumni, volunteers and school staff
- Work closely with team members, administration, volunteers and alumni in coordinating various aspects of Foundation events from implementation to execution and post event summary reports.
- In collaboration with the Director, prepare and oversee the execution of invitations, RSVP forms, marketing materials, and social media for dissemination within the communit
- In coordination with the Director, provide support to the TFS Alumni Association Executive, including meeting preparation and minute
- Help source and secure special guests and presenters for events and student programs
- Maintain record of event-related contact management in the Raiser’s Edge database
- Assist with data quality projects dans documentation of business operation processes
- Support data entry and updating record information in the database
- Prepare updates and postings for social media and website platforms
- Provide administrative support to Foundation leadership, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Who we are looking for**:
**Education**:

- Enrolled in or graduate of a post-secondary program, ideally in communications, fundraising or management.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in an office setting.

Technical Skills:

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, sponsors and staff.- Great writing, proofreading and editing skills, with experience in writing and producing communication materials.- Project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and lead multiple projects simultaneously.- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative working style. Proven ability to exercise tact, discretion, and good judgment.- Experience using databases is an asset- Budget management skills
- Good facility with software such as the Microsoft Office suite (Word, excel, PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign, Canva and other design platforms.

Language skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English. French is an asset.

Performance Skills:

- Must be able to work independently, exercise initiative with strong prioritizing and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to manage multi-phase projects from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment.

**La position**

Reportant à la directrice, des opérations et relations avec les anciens élèves, le/la stagiaire fournira un soutien administratif et de programmation à divers événements, projets spéciaux et activités des anciens élèves. Le/la stagiaire, travaillera avec divers membres de l'équipe de la fondation, de l'école et de la communauté des bénévoles, y compris l’association des anciens élèves de TFS.

Tâches et responsabilités
- Fournir un soutien administratif et de gestion de projet pour les programmes des anciens élèves et de la Fondation y compris les événements, les communications (y compris les médias sociaux) et la gestion des bénévoles- Participer à la mise en place d’une série d'événements en collaboration avec les anciens élèves, les bénévoles et le personnel de l’école- Travailler en collaboration avec les membres de l’équipe, l’administration, les bénévoles et les anciens élèves pour coordonner les différents aspects des événements de la Fondation, de la mise en œuvre
