Toromont Cat is looking for a Truck & Coach Technician. Our Technicians, Truck and Coach are critical to our business and with a positive attitude and strong technical expertise will continue to make Toromont Cat a trusted dealer in repairs.

In a typical day, YOU will:

Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives. Maintain positive customer relationships by providing responsive and proactive technical expertise at all times Repair Caterpillar diesel engines, all OEM truck and coach vehicles and other equipment in a timely and economical manner Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems using Caterpillar testing equipment Prepare service reports and service documentation in an accurate and timely manner Ensure internal and external customer requirements are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner

Must-haves for this role:

Post-secondary education A valid Truck and Coach Technician Licence (310T), with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Truck and Coach repair and service Safety conscious and customer centric with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Exceptional diagnostic and analytical skills (including electrical and electronics) with superior attention to detail Self-motivated and safety conscious with the ability to meet repair deadlines in a fast-paced demanding environment High initiative, integrity and ability to function effectively as a team player Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Cat Systems would be an asset Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of business requirements A valid Ontario Driver’s License
