Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:

Supervise and lead a team of 7-8 unionized employees, including senior team leads.
Ensure efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, cycle counts, and SKU audits.
Oversee daily shift operations, including: Motivate the team, hold them accountable, and maintain high performance in a dusty, construction-material-focused environment.
Utilize strong computer skills to analyze data from reporting systems, understand inventory data, and drive decision-making.
Manage and support employees in a unionized environment, ensuring proper accountability and performance standards.
Foster a culture of safety and compliance, while contributing to continuous improvement efforts through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen practices.

Qualifications
What you bring:

Minimum of 3 years of management experience, including leading a unionized team.
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate teams, hold employees accountable, and improve performance.
Experience in manufacturing or related industries preferred; logistics experience alone is not sufficient.
Solid understanding of data-driven decision-making and warehouse management systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is an asset. A post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication and team-building skills.
