Whatyou will be doing:

• Consistently offeringthoughtful professional and proactive guestservice
• Having full knowledge of beverage listsand promotions menu items garnishes and preparationmethods
• Assisting guests with menu items in aninformative engaging and helpful way
• Mixingdrinks and craft cocktails to standard while controlling andmonitoring inventory
• Actively seeking dietaryrestrictions and allergies from guests and communicating to kitchenstaff accordingly
• Handling guest concernsswiftly and graciously offering a remarkable recovery and acommitment to always improve
• Ensuring serviceessentials quality and service standards are met throughout theguest experience from arrival todeparture
• Setting up mise en place sidestations bar and bar settings according tostandards
• Supporting colleagues during serviceto ensure a consistent guest experience throughout restaurantincluding running food refreshing beverages and clearning/resettingtables when needed
• Setting furniture in bar andlounge area in consistent clean and invitingway
• Ensuring accuracy in billing promotions andloyalty program offerings
• Following all safetyand sanitation policies when handling food andbeverage
• All other duties asassigned

Qualifications:

Yourexperience and skillsinclude:

• Servicefocused personality is essentially with at least one yearexperience in a highvolume upscale restaurantrequired
• Previous experience in a luxury hotelenvironment preferred
• Ability to focusattention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at alltimes
• Strong communication interpersonal andproblemsolving skills
• Proven ability tomultitask and manage multiple priorities atonce
• Ability to work well under pressure in afast paced environment
• Ability to workcohesively and collaboratively as part of ateam
• Highly responsible and reliable withimpeccable grooming andprofessionalism
• Knowledge of wine spirits beercocktails and specialty coffees
• Valid ServingIt Right Certification
• Ability to workfluctuating schedule including weekends holidays evenings androtating shifts
• Ability to speak and understandEnglish with professional workingproficiency
• Successful candidate must belegally eligible to work in Canada; Hotel is unable to assistapplicants with Canadian workauthorization

PhysicalAspects of Position (include but are not limitedto): 

• Constantstanding and walking throughout shift
• Frequentlifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Frequentkneeling pushing and pulling
• Frequent ascendingor descending ladders stairs and ramps
