Samrt Plant Support Specialist

The Smart Plant Support Specialist supports 2D /3D CAD Tools interoperability with regards to the Hexagon Smart Plant and it’s major modules including Foundation, 3D, P & ID and SDX and AtkinsRéalis integrated document management systems.
Location: Mississauga, ON.
Your role within the team:
System level activities required to support the following products: Smart Plant and it’s major modules including Foundation, 3D, P & ID and SDX. This includes items such as:
Participate in software certification, User Acceptance Testing and delivery processes, ensure issues are communicated to developers and software vendors as needed. Provide user support for: Smart Plant and Plant 3D. Maintain Smart Plant borders - security identifiers. Resolve software installation issues. Liaise with external vendors including IT developers to investigate unusual problems with software releases/ hardware issues, or to receive assistance with hardware and peripheral malfunctions. Develop/Review Plant 3D Piping Specs Defined by Piping Paper Specs. Customize SmartPlant 3D Catalog/Piping Specs; Support 3D Modeling; Customize 3D ISO Template/Style; Support 3D ISO Generation. Liaise with end users to define and implement enhancements. Monitor disk space and system resources and communicating issues to Engineering Tools.Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?
