Position Summary:
We’re seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to manage financial records and support our client’s mission of growth and success.
This position requires the ability to work 32 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday, offering a fantastic work-life balance.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $27.00 - $32.00

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable: Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to guide financial decisions.
- Budget Preparation: Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets.
- Tax Preparation Support: Gather necessary documents for tax compliance and assist with the preparation of tax returns.
- Audit Coordination: Prepare necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
- Financial Policy Development: Assist in developing financial policies that promote operational efficiency.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training to junior staff on bookkeeping practices and software use.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Client Communication: Maintain professional relationships with clients, addressing any financial inquiries.
- Compliance Updates: Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
We’d Love to Talk to You More About This Opportunity If You Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation (in good standing) is an asset.
- Experience with Financial Software: Familiarity with QuickBooks is mandatory.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with other departments.
- Confidentiality: A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality in financial matters.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new software and processes as needed.
- Positive Attitude: A proactive and positive approach to challenges and change.
