Our client a global integrated services company based in Vaughan has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their Finance Department. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, will provide pivotal support in managing business insights and monitoring company performance.


Key duties include


  • Analyzing datasets to identify trends and patterns that could potentially impact business performance. They also propose and implement strategies based on the data analysis that can support business growth, customer acquisition, retention, and overall operational efficiency.
  • The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager also plays a crucial role in assessing the performance of newly acquired businesses. They conduct financial analyses focusing on aspects such as revenue growth, cost reductions, and profitability. They also identify areas where the business can create additional value through operational improvements or strategic initiatives.
  • Furthermore, collaboration is key for this role, as they partner with senior leadership and provide insights that are instrumental in making strategic business decisions. They also work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure that the data collected and stored is accurate for further analysis and reporting.
  • Additionally, they're involved in presenting findings and recommendations to senior management, articulating the data analysis in a meaningful and comprehensive way to aid in decision-making processes.
  • Lastly, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager fosters a culture of continuous improvement, staying updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence, finding new ways to enhance their data analysis techniques and reporting capabilities.




●     CPA or CFA qualification required

●     Minimum of 5 years’ of related experience is required

●  Prior experience writing MD& A for a public company is strongly preferred.

●     Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

●     Great communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

●     Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business partnerships.

●     Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

●     Strong business acumen with a focus on results and strategic thinking.
