Role Impact:

The Enterprise & Third-party Risk Analyst will report to the Enterprise and Third-party Risk Lead supporting research and driving analysis in support of risk identification and monitoring and trends evaluation across all CF’s current and planned asset classes, current and future industry opportunities, and product or service offerings. This role will also support the research, analysis, and insights that facilitate the delivery of CF’s Enterprise and Third-party risk management programs, and other trends or benchmarking research (, industry peer/best practice assessments, business environment assessment, etc.) as they apply to evaluating risk to CF business across asset classes, geographies, and innovation concepts.

What you will deliver:

Support the Lead, Enterprise & Third-Party Risk with building and enhancing CF’s risk management programs, including supporting in the identification, evaluation, management and reporting of risks, the development of risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines, enhancing risk appetite statements and metrics/ Key Risk Indicators. Participate in internal/ external research, analysis, and developing insights that facilitate risk monitoring of CF’s strategic plan This can include the evolution of Corporate Responsibility practices, benchmarking research, asset class reviews, business risk assessment, etc. as they apply to evaluating CF business across asset classes, geographies, and innovation concepts. Execute on project deliverables by establishing work plans, monitoring progress against goals, and conducting status updates to adjust approaches as required. Develop and manage risk models as they relate to scenario analysis and business model impacts. Provide reliable and timely interpretation that is synthesized for various levels of decision makers, including senior management and the executive Prepare and present creative and visual reporting materials and presentations for senior management and committees. Assist in organizing and facilitating discussions / brainstorming sessions with Cadillac Fairview’s leadership team to identify and align on risk priorities. Periodically assist other departments including Leasing, Operations, and Development on special projects or other risk analysis Stay current on research, and share as appropriate, new & emerging industry trends/ risks or disrupters in commercial real estate across all asset classes. This includes technology advances/ emerging innovations, business model impacts from industry changes & markets, growth opportunities, evolving asset type-specific trends, and corporate & social responsibility trends in the industry & among peers.

What you need to succeed:

An undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or Real Estate A minimum years of work experience in a multi-sector real estate, private equity, consulting, or investment banking firm in an investment, valuation, internal consulting, strategy and/or asset management capacity Demonstrated experience in data visualization and graphical presentation of quantitative data Experience working in Corporate Responsibility and Strategy Planning considered an asset. Analytical/quantitative/financial modeling skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Snowflake, Tableau; effective presentation creation skills in PowerPoint; GRC tool skills considered an asset. Possession of (or working towards) a CRM/ FRM/ MBA or other professional risk designation considered an asset. Experience in commercial real estate (across different assets, including retail, office, multifamily, mixed use) and/or retail industry experience is an asset
