We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. The role is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and you will be involved in a range of accounting and administrative tasks. The Accounting Clerk will be integral in maintaining our financial records and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate processing of credit applications.

Responsibilities:
• Accurate input of financial data into our accounting systems, keeping all records up-to-date
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on various financial tasks
• Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy in all aspects including hours worked, deductions, and benefits
• Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis, resolving any discrepancies quickly
• Reconcile company credit card transactions, verifying receipts and resolving any issues
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records that comply with audit requirements
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to generate financial reports and assist in forecasting and budgeting activities
• Process customer credit applications efficiently, maintaining accurate customer records
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing procedures

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks software

• Knowledge of SAP software
