Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Construction Installation Manager for a large automotive client in the Quebec area. This engineer is responsible for the development of the statement of requirements, and the management of the execution of process equipment installation in various Manufacturing Centers. This engineer will be responsible for both installation execution activities across all the ME Centers. Creativity and initiative are key characteristics of this position. An installation for all aspects of their work, including Safety, schedule, and cost.
Day-to-Day:
Manages construction safety Estimates the value of work Develops engineering designs and implements changes Works with engineering functions, suppliers, plant personnel and others to implement cost reduction, methods, and product improvements, and to support build programs Coordinates and consults with departments outside engineering, such as manufacturing Oversees equipment installationMust Haves
5-10 years of construction management experience Bilingual in both English and French Understanding of Engineering Theory and Practices of operation of mechanical/electrical mechanisms Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel Ability to use AutoCADNice to Have

Cet ingénieur est responsable de l'élaboration de l'énoncé des besoins et de la gestion de l'exécution de l'installation de l'équipement de traitement dans divers centres de fabrication. Cet ingénieur sera responsable des deux activités d'exécution de l'installation dans tous les centres de fabrication. La créativité et l'esprit d'initiative sont des caractéristiques essentielles de ce poste. Une installation pour tous les aspects de son travail, y compris la sécurité, le calendrier et le coût.
Au quotidien:
Gère la sécurité de la construction Estimer la valeur des travaux Élaborer des conceptions techniques et mettre en œuvre les changements. Travaille avec les fonctions d'ingénierie, les fournisseurs, le personnel de l'usine et d'autres personnes pour mettre en œuvre des réductions de coûts, des méthodes et des améliorations de produits, et pour soutenir les programmes de construction. Coordonne et consulte les services extérieurs à l'ingénierie, tels que la fabrication. Superviser l'installation des équipements.Compétences requises:
5 à 10 ans d'expérience en gestion de la construction Bilingue Anglais-Français Compréhension de la théorie et des pratiques d'ingénierie du fonctionnement des mécanismes mécaniques/électriques Maîtrise de Microsoft Project et d'Excel Capacité à utiliser AutoCADAvantages:
Connaissance des ateliers d'emboutissage, des ateliers de carrosserie, de l'assemblage général, des convoyeurs et des systèmes de propulsion globale.
