Duties:
Practiceasamemberofthemultidisciplinaryteamtoprovidequalityclinicalcareand teaching to patients, residents, andtheir families. Adheres to all policies and procedures. Supports and demonstrates the mission, visionand values of the organization. Otherduties may be assigned and may not be limitedto the scope of an individual department.Qualifications:
CurrentRegistrationwiththeCollegeofNursesofOntarioasaRegisteredPractical Nurse,andbeamemberingoodstandingrequired. Practical NursingDiploma or equivalent education and relevantexperience. CurrentcertificationinBasicCardiacLifeSupport(BCLS). 12LeadECGInterpretationCourseorequivalentpreferred. GentlePersuasiveApproachcertificatepreferred. Educationandtrainingrelatedtodementiaandgeriatriccarepreferred:includedbutnot limited to Montessori, restorative care approaches, palliative care, etc. Recentclinicalexperienceinanacute,primary,orlongtermcaresetting. Experience leadinginterdisciplinary teams preferred. Experience supervising and directing the care of unregulated healthcare providers. Knowledge of LTC policies/legislation on assessment and care planningprocesses. Knowledge of current trendsin nursing and health care required. Demonstrated exemplarydocumentation skills and holistic assessment skills required. Knowledge of applicable legislative and hospital/program policiesrequired. Exceptional Attendance required. Must agree to adhereto the standards of behaviourof the organization.-
