Training Consultant

Designand develop engaging and effective training programs includingelearning modules instructorled workshops and onthejob coachingprograms.
Selectand implement appropriate training methods based on program contentand learningobjectives.
Develophighquality training materials such as presentations handouts andonlineresources.
Delivertraining programs to employees at all levels of theorganization.
Facilitateinteractive learning experiences that promote knowledge retentionand skilldevelopment.
Evaluatethe effectiveness of training programs through surveys assessmentsand performancemetrics.
Stayuptodate on the latest instructional design theories and adultlearningprinciples.
Collaboratewith internal stakeholders such as subject matter experts anddepartment heads to ensure training programs align with businessgoals.
Manageand maintain training records anddocumentation.
Mayidentify and source external training providers whennecessary.
RequirementsBachelorsdegree in Human Resources Management Adult Education InstructionalDesign or a related field(Mastersdegree aplus).
BoardCertificationCSTD Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) or HRPALearning and Development Professional(LDP)).
Minimum35 years of experience as a Training Consultant or similarrole.
Proventrack record of designing developing and delivering effectivetrainingprograms.
Stronginstructional design skills and experience with various trainingmethodologies (eLearning blended learningetc.).
Excellentcommunication presentation and facilitationskills.
Abilityto assess training needs develop learning objectives and measuretrainingeffectiveness.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS) aplus.
Experienceworking in a fastpaced environment and managing multiplepriorities.
Stronganalytical and problemsolvingskills.
Abilityto work independently and as part of ateam.
Fluencyin English (French aplus).

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Adult Education,Instructional Design, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).Board Certification (e.g., CSTD Certified Training and DevelopmentProfessional (CTDP) or HRPA Learning and Development Professional(LDP)). Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Training Consultant/Specialist or similar role. Proven track record of designing,developing, and delivering effective training programs. Stronginstructional design skills and experience with various trainingmethodologies (eLearning, blended learning, etc.). Excellentcommunication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Ability toassess training needs, develop learning objectives, and measuretraining effectiveness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite andLearning Management Systems (LMS) a plus. Experience working in afast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities. Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to workindependently and as part of a team.
