About the team + role
We’re thrilled to be expanding this year as Robinhood is hiring world-class engineering talent in Toronto. Our Hoodies in Canada will enable Robinhood to continue creating great financial products on our journey towards democratizing finance for all.

The Data Engineering Team’s focus is owning and maintaining data pipelines and datasets. This team will be partnering closely with upstream engineering teams and all downstream consumers of the data.
The role is located in the office location(s) listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. Please connect with your recruiter for more information regarding our in-office philosophy and expectations.
Key priorities are:
Build a core data model to house Product and Experimentation datasetsBuild pipelines to integrate all data from product logging and compute metricsBuild aggregate datasets to easily surface key metrics and act as a source of truthWhat you'll do
Coach and mentor Robinhood’s talented engineers by giving them actionable feedback, setting clear goals, and coordinating project work with other teams and managersDeliver high-quality, impactful projects in record time with thoughtful planningApply technical leadership and expertise to both your team and across engineeringImprove the ease of accessing insights from data within Robinhood by providing structured datasets and abstractions over core data.Work with other engineering managers to refine and improve Robinhood’s processes and systems for product developmentCommunicate effectively with other teams to understand and deliver on data pipelines that are well maintained and are high qualityWhat you bring
5+ years of experience as a software engineer or data engineer and 3+ years as a managerProven ability to coach engineers and interns on the teamOur team is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming interview experience for all candidates.
