Riedel Canada est un pionnier dans la production de SFP (small form-factor pluggable) pour le traitement numérique des signaux. Notre centre d'ingénierie développe des passerelles IP miniaturisées, des processeurs de signaux et des convertisseurs pour les applications vidéo de diffusion, tandis que notre équipe des opérations est en charge de donner vie à toute cette technologie. Le rôle de chef de produit

En tant que chef de produit pour les produits vidéo OEM, tu géreras la famille de produits vidéo OEM d'Embrionix à l'échelle mondiale et agiras comme le référent principal à l'interne et à l'externe. Tu seras également impliqué.e dans les nouveaux produits et travailleras en collaboration avec nos équipes de marketing et de vente.

Tu seras rattaché.e au responsable de la gestion des produits vidéo. Il s'agit d'un nouveau poste à temps plein (37.5 heures par semaine), basé à notre bureau de Laval, avec quelques déplacements aux États-Unis et en Europe plusieurs fois par année.

Tes principales responsabilités

Observer les tendances du marché, les technologies et la concurrence, et développer des offres de produits convaincantes qui permettent aux clients OEM tiers d'utiliser avec succès la technologie d'Embrionix dans leurs produits Recueillir des informations sur le marché et les clients pour comprendre comment le marché est segmenté, comment les clients utilisent les produits et effectuer des analyses comparatives de la concurrence Suivre les tendances technologiques et valider les exigences et les spécifications des produits avec les principales parties prenantes, les clients principaux et les partenaires de distribution Élaborer des stratégies et des feuilles de route pour les produits afin d'assurer la croissance, d'améliorer les marges et de renforcer le positionnement concurrentiel Défendre le produit auprès des publics internes et externes, soutenir les équipes de vente et de marketing dans l'engagement des clients et soutenir les ventes OEM Identifier les nouvelles opportunités pour les clients OEM et rédiger des PRD (Product Requirements Documents) pour favoriser le développement agile et le NPI (New Product Introduction) Définir la tarification globale et les niveaux de remise par défaut, tenir à jour la liste de prix principale et suivre les performances financières et les tendances de la famille de produits Gérer le cycle de vie des produits pour le portefeuille de produits en cours de vie et en fin de vie Représenter l'entreprise lors de salons et d'événements.


Tes principales connaissances et compétences générales

Diplôme en ingénierie électronique ou logicielle ou dans un domaine similaire, et/ou expérience équivalente Expérience approfondie de la gestion des produits, avec au moins deux ans d'expérience confirmée dans une entreprise de fabrication de logiciels ou de matériel informatique ayant une clientèle internationale Expérience confirmée en matière de développement de nouveaux produits à l'aide des processus Stage Gate et Agile. Connaissance approfondie de la production vidéo IP et des systèmes sur le marché de la radiodiffusion Connaissance de la technologie vidéo et audio de la production en direct et des systèmes informatiques et IP Expérience des interactions et des présentations au niveau de la direction et capacité à gérer les relations directes avec les clients, les développeurs et d'autres fonctions de l'entreprise afin de développer des objectifs communs et des résultats positifs Capacité à gérer un certain nombre de projets simultanément tout en gérant efficacement le temps et les ressources Anglais (courant - indispensable), d'autres langues sont un atout.

The role of Product Manager

As our Product Manager for the OEM Video products, you will own and manage the worldwide Embrionix OEM video product family and act as the global product family champion. You will also be involved in managing new product information and work alongside with our Marketing and Sales teams. 

You will be reporting to the Head of Video Product Management. This is a new opening and a full-time position (37.5 hrs/week). You will be based out of our Laval office with some travel to the US and Europe a few times a year.

Your key responsibilities

Research markets trends, technologies and competition and develop compelling product
offerings that enable 3rd party OEM customers to successfully use Embrionix technology in their products Gather market and customer intelligence and understand how the market is segmented, how customers use products and carry out competitive benchmarking Track technology trends and validate product requirements and specifications with core stakeholders, lead customers and channel partners Build product strategies and roadmaps to deliver growth, improved margins and strengthen competitive positioning Be a champion for the product with internal and external audiences, support sales and marketing teams in customer engagement and support OEM sales Identify new OEM customer opportunities and write PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) to drive agile development and NPI (New Product Introduction) Set global pricing and default discount levels, maintain Master Pricelist and track product family financial performance and trends Manage product Life-cycle for in-life product portfolio and End-of-Life Represent the company at trade fairs and events

You possess most of the following knowledge and skills

Expert knowledge of IP video production and systems in the Broadcast market, knowledge of live production video and audio technology and IT and IP based systems Degree in electronic or software engineering or a similar field, or the equivalent amount of experience Deep experience in Product Management with 2+ years of proven experience in a software/hardware manufacturing business with international customer base Proven track record of successful new product development using Stage Gate and agile processes Experience in interactions and presentations at Management level and capability to manage direct relationships with customers, developers and other company functions to develop common goals and positive outcomes Able to manage a number of projects simultaneously while managing time and resources effectively English (fluent – must have), other languages are a plus
