The goal of this course is to provide a framework for career planning. Through researching potential career opportunities, the student will develop a strategy to meet personal strengths, interests, and career objectives. Integral to the course will be the preparation of professional resumes and the development of effective job search and interviewing techniques.

-B10-HR Introduction to Business
(2 heures de théorie, 1 heure de laboratoire et 4 heures de disponibilité par semaine)
This course introduces the student to the field of business administration. More specifically, the student will explore the nature of business from both a Canadian and a global perspective. Students will be introduced to the options for organizing a business, the nature of management and the different functional areas of the business organization.

-H20-HR Payroll Administration
(2 heures de théorie, 2 heures de laboratoire et 4 heures de disponibilité par semaine)
Students study fundamental payroll practices and procedures, including legislative compliance and relevant regulatory agencies. Students will learn different facets of payroll administration including the determination of net pay for salaries, hourly, commissioned employees and contract workers as well as determining obligations for businesses. Students will receive hands-on experience with computerized payroll software. Students will also be exposed to the administrative requirements for human resource management.

-B50-HR Supply Chain Management
(2 heures de théorie, 3 heures de laboratoire et 5 heures de disponibilité par semaine)
This course introduces students to the field of supply chain management as an essential component of a firm's overall strategic planning process. Topics examined include developing supply management goals, evaluating suppliers, and managing inventory. Furthermore, students will examine the role of quality management and international commercial transactions as they relate to global supply chain management.

De manière générale, la charge d'enseignement du professeur doit inclure: la préparation du curriculum; la préparation et l'enseignement des classes, des laboratoires et des terrains; l'adaptation; le soutien et la supervision des étudiants; la préparation, la surveillance et la correction des examens; la révision des corrections à la demande des étudiants; la participation aux journées pédagogiques organisées par le Cégep; la participation aux réunions départementales et activités requises. Exigences QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES REQUISES :
• Détenir au minimum un baccalauréat en Commerce ou dans un domaine pertinent.
• Une expérience professionnelle de trois ans dans le domaine des affaires est préférable.
• Plusieurs années d'expérience en enseignement au niveau universitaire ou collégiale est préférable.
• La maîtrise de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit est requise.
• La connaissance du français, tant à l’oral qu’l’écrit est requise.
• La connaissance dans l'utilisation des logiciels Microsoft Office est requise.
