We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented accountant in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in accounting and possess an in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislations. They must be keen at handling all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities such as reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary
  • Analyze and compile cost records, and prepare cost reports to establish manufacturing costs and to collect cost data for planning.
  • Implement cost accounting practices and procedures to accurately reflect the manufacturing cost structure.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the financial department and coordinate with the tax department to ensure timely and accurate quarterly and annual tax filings.
  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance and oversee the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing
  • Assist in strategic financial projects including upgrades in financial systems and processes
  • Evaluate financial and information systems and suggest process improvements.
  • Prepare and analyze the monthly budget/forecast variances and provide findings to the management.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in the accounting/finance with a focus on Manufacturing Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, financial statements, and financial reporting models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software packages.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong numerical proficiency and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing sector and related financial aspects.
