STATUS : Full-Time, Contract

COMPENSATION : $21 - $23/ hr

Duties and Responsibilities

Delivering exceptional guest experiences that showcase our wines and our story Creating, developing and managing winery programs that align with our sales and service goals, such as seasonal events, wine club activities and private tastings Developing strategies to attract and retain key customers, such as partnering with local businesses and tour operators Managing and motivating our tasting room staff, ensuring they are well-trained, knowledgeable and passionate about our wines Responsible for the daily operations of the tasting room including scheduling, maintaining stock levels, daily cash out, organization & cleanliness Assisting the estate manager with setting and monitoring our sales and expense targets Execute onsite events in coordination with Hospitality Manager

Requirements

Hospitality experience and some formal wine education (eg WSET 2 or higher) A passion for wine and a desire to learn more about our wines and winemaking philosophy Exemplary communication, interpersonal and customer service skills and a high level of attention to detail A positive, proactive and professional attitude Must be able to lift 40 lb cases of wine & be able to stand for long periods of time Serving It Right certification Availability weekends and occasional evenings and holidays
