Wine Ambassador

Uppercase Winery invites you to join our team We are currently located in the District Wine Village. Uppercase Winery was realized to focus on our passion for the South Okanagan terroir and its ability to produce exceptional, world-class wines.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Wine Ambassadors will provide gracious, unpretentious hospitality and support on
- and off-site events, as required.**Responsibilities**:_
- Warmly greet all guests
- Passionately communicate Uppercase Winery’s story
- Provide gracious, unpretentious hospitality that translates to wine sales
- Coordinate guest experiences using reservation management software
- Meet wine club sales targets
- Support on
- and off-site events
- Facilitate checkout experience using POS system
- Ensure the cleanliness of the tasting room
- Replenish inventory, as required
- Help to prepare and fulfill online orders and wine club shipments
- Other tasks as assigned
- **Job Qualifications**:_
- Serving it Right
- Experience in a hospitality role
- Winery experience an asset
- Thrive in a fast paced environment with a positive attitude
- Passionate about the wine industry
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must be flexible and available on weekends & some holidays as required
- **Compensation**_
- $20 per hour plus gratuities
- Ongoing training and mentorship from a passionate leadership team
- This is a seasonal position with potential for full time

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
