Our Total Rewards team is seeking an #EnergyProblemSolver to join us in our Calgary office. In this key role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of our compensation programs, as well as participating in the delivery of our pension and benefits offerings.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Total Rewards, you will be a critical member of the team supporting approximately 600 employees across both Canada and the U.S. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your total rewards expertise and grow your career in the areas of compensation, pension, and benefits.

What you’ll do
Contribute to the annual compensation review process by:Recommending salary structure adjustments and budgetsEnsuring systems and processes are prepared for program rolloutAdministering short-term and long-term incentive awardsDesigning and delivering communication and training materialsProviding guidance and support to HR and the broader organizationProvide ongoing consultation and subject-matter expertise on compensation-related programs.Administer the long-term incentive plan using the Shareworks platform.Assist with executive compensation, annual proxy circular disclosure, and preparation of HR Committee of the Board materials.Complete compensation surveys to ensure access to best data related to the Canadian and U.S. markets and monitor external competitive practices through research and peer networking.Prepare complex compensation modelling, analyses and reports and provide recommendations.Develop communication materials to enhance the understanding of total rewards programs.Participate in the design and delivery of the pension and benefits programs for Canada and U.S.Engage with HR Business Partners, Payroll, and third parties to resolve escalated pension and benefits issues.Support U.S. annual benefits enrolment activities including vendor collaboration and communication.Lead and/or participate in total rewards projects in which you partner with other members of the Total Rewards and HR teams, vendors, consultants, and other internal and external stakeholders, to create solutions that attract and motivate employees.Regularly review and update total rewards policies and processes to ensure consistency, clarity, compliance, and drive continuous improvement.Minimum Qualifications
A university degree with minimum 8 years of compensation experience in a mid-sized corporation; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office programs.Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Canadian and U.S. oil and gas industry compensation practices. Working knowledge with Workday. Experience with group benefits and pension plan (defined benefit and/or defined contribution). Experience administering long-term incentive plans using the Shareworks platform. CEBS, CCP and/or CPHR designations.This position requires candidates to:
