Diriger le secteur comme prévu en garantissant les meilleures pratiques et des opérations efficaces et montrer la voie aux employés horaires en devenant un mentor et en démontrant un comportement modèle, notamment une communication solide, la résolution de conflits et une capacité de leadership (grâce aux méthodes des meilleures pratiques)

This is an interview position.

To assist management in overseeing daily sort, delivery / pickup activities and remote domicile location/feeder Ops (where applicable). Leads the sector as assigned ensuring best practices and effective operations and models the way for hourly employees by becoming a mentor and demonstrating role model behaviour including strong communication, conflict resolution and leadership ability (through Best Practices methods)

Solide connaissance des éléments suivants :
  • Doit posséder un permis de conduire valide et avoir un bon dossier de conduite.
  • Capacité à réussir toutes les formations de base et périodiques (y compris la certification de spécialiste DG). Doit maintenir l'accréditation grâce à une formation périodique annuelle avant l'expiration.
  • Rester à jour avec la formation en BP et les mises à jour en conduite défensive.
  • Bonne compréhension des produits FedEx, des caractéristiques du service et des opérations générales.
  • Capacité de soulever 70 lb et de manœuvrer tout colis pesant jusqu'à 150 lb avec l'équipement approprié.
  • Une certaine connaissance des opérations de Federal Express et de la réglementation douanière canadienne est un atout.
  • Solides compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles avec la capacité de motiver, d'encadrer et de former les employés sur le terrain.
  • Capacité à établir des priorités et à déléguer dans des délais serrés.

2 years current courier experience

Other specific mandatory experience requirements - (Preferred)

Personal Development Stream of Excel

Technical Skill Requirements

Solid knowledge of the following:

Must possess a valid drivers licence and have a good driving record.

Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training (including DG specialist certification). Must maintain accreditation through yearly recurrency training prior to expiration.

Remains current with training in BP and defensive driver / process updates.

Good understanding of FedEx products, features of service, general operations.

Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.

Some knowledge of Federal Express operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset.

Solid communications/ interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate/ coach and train employees on the job.

Ability to prioritize and delegate in a time-sensitive manner.

Interpersonal Skill Requirements

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, customer relations and communication skills.

Good analytical, problem solving, prioritization and organization skills

Réussir la formation de base et la formation périodique (y compris l’obtention et le maintien d’un certificat de marchandises dangereuses). Conserver son accréditation par des formations périodiques avant la date d’expiration.

Rester à jour dans sa formation en matière de meilleures pratiques et de conduite défensive.

Bien comprendre les services de FedEx, leurs modalités et le fonctionnement général de l’entreprise.

Pouvoir soulever des charges de 70 lb et de manoeuvrer, avec l’aide d’un appareil approprié, des colis pesant jusqu’à 150 lb.

Une certaine connaissance des activités de Federal Express et de la réglementation douanière canadienne constitue un atout.

Solide maîtrise des communications et des relations interpersonnelles et capacité de motiver, d’encadrer et de former les employés au travail.

Capacité d’établir des priorités et de déléguer des responsabilités dans des délais serrés.
