Industrial Electrician

Job description

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install electrical components such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have a red seal certification and a minimum of 5 years industry experience with a strong background in PLC's, instrumentation and process controls

-Previous experience with identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, or standing for extended periods

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $36.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
