Heavy Duty Trailer Mechanic

Drake International, on behalf of our client, a leader in the industry, presents an exciting opportunity for a Heavy Duty Trailer Mechanic (or registered apprentice) to join their team in Sherwood Park, Alberta. What You Do:

Ensure daily and preventive maintenance of cryogenic equipment and trailers, adhering to codes, standards, and regulations.
Manage parts inventory, documenting movements in the software.
Maintain a clean and safe garage and orderly parts depot.
Identify and correct potential dangers and accident risks.
Recommend improvements to minimize costs and enhance maintenance quality.
Collaborate with the Distribution Center team to improve efficiency.

Who You Are:

Certified Heavy Equipment Technician or a registered apprentice (Red Seal is an asset)
Good knowledge of maintenance norms and standards for the industry, cryogenics, and dangerous materials.
Ability to work independently and in groups.
Valid class 5 license and flexibility for 10-hour shifts and weekends.
Experience with small engines, cryogenics, or pressure vessels is an asset.

What We Offer:

Hourly starts at $42.19, after 6 months $49.86+.95 cents for CVIP License
Growth opportunities within the company.
Permanent work opportunity.
Shifts: 40 Hour work weeks and occasional weekend and overtime work is a requirement.
Annual allocation for tools up to $500.
Work starts immediately.
