Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Komatsu. As a key member of our National Service Group, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing heavy-duty equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, repair, and service of heavy-duty equipment, including diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical issues.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts, components, or systems.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and apprentices to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification, including Red Seal Certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance, repair, or service.
  • Previous experience working with Joy Global products is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and manufacturer specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a customer-facing role.
  • Valid Alberta Driver's License and ability to work in a field environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Hold a high standard for quality and safety.
