Sage Recruiting is looking for an Intermediate Software QA Engineer specializing in Testing and Automation to join a medium-sized B2C/B2B software company partnered with some of the world’s leading brands. Our client helps consumers to save money on items they purchase every day and their product has the advantage to create an impact on purchasing decisions.As a QA Engineer, you will implement automated testing solutions for our client’s customer-centric web products and APIs. Your role also includes developing and maintaining the mobile test automation system and performing manual testing as needed. If you are planning to further your career in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is for youWhat you will be doingAutomate the regression testing suite for web apps by using java/seleniumWork with other testers and engineers on test automation implementation for new featuresEnhance the automation process by upholding the best QA automation practices together with the QA teamGenerate and establish testing programs for the main feature setIdentify, triage and fix flaky tests as well as monitor and maintain the stability and performance of tests in the build pipelineImplement appropriate testing methods and support automated tests for new features in collaboration with the Scrum teamWork closely with the engineers to establish preliminary testing in the software development systemDetermine and optimize the overall architecture, quality and testability of the software systems together with the teamRoutinely and efficiently monitor and report test results What we are looking forExperience with Selenium/JavaOutstanding QA skillsExperience with API testing (SoapUI, Postman)Experience with Cucumber Experience working in an agile environment Experience with cloud computing services (AWS), Git/GitHub, and JenkinsExperience in writing and implementation of test plans and casesPassion for optimization and automationExperience with both web and mobile automationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Software or any closely related field Nice to haveExperience with CI/CD (circle CI)Experience with PHP or similar scripting language Experience with Gherkin Syntax and BDD Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira)Experience with mobile testing (Appium)What we offerSalary: CAD 95-120KRemote work (optional office in Toronto)Summer Hours3 weeks’ vacation Personal/Sick DaysFull Heath Benefits.
