Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)

o OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)

o OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)

o OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

PHD. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Track record of creating high performance speech enhancement models, both through shipping products and publications 9+ years of experience in machine learning 5+ years using ML tools like Pytorch and TensorFlow System development skills, with a long-range system view that leverages development ranging from rapid research prototypes to carefully architected complex systems.

Applied Sciences IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $132,800 - CAD $247,200 per year. Find additional pay information here:

Responsibilities

Apply machine learning to improve existing and develop new algorithms to improve Skype/Teams audio quality. Understand and be able to leverage core concepts of audio processing. Design, develop, and own components, tools, platforms, and systems for real-time media communication and collaboration. Drive independent investigations resulting in shipping product code, patents, and publications. Embody ourand.
