What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Food Manager, the Bakery Manager will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core Values and Brand. 

Key responsibilities include :

Understanding and following Heritage Co-op’s Safety and Health Program and promoting a culture of safety including all Food Safety standards. Providing exceptional Guest service to our Members and Guests, and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto. Lead the direction for Team Members in all areas including performance. management, talent development, engagement, talent acquisition, orientation, and onboarding. Responsible for overall safe, effective operations of the Bakery department, which includes but is not limited to scheduling, ordering, Brand standards, etc.  Collaborating with fellow Team Leaders on displays and store projects. Production, packaging and merchandising of product. Accurate ordering and receiving of product. Ensure high level of image and cleanliness in line with our Brand expectations.  Responsible for all aspects of the operations financial results including sales, margin, wage cost, expenses, and contribution. Other projects and assignments as required.
