Business Analyst Intern – O.K. Tire Corporate Office

At OK Tire Stores Inc., we harness the power of data to drive business decisions and strategic planning. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with MITS and Birst reporting tools and contribute to impactful business analysis projects.
Position Overview:
As a Business Analyst Intern, you will collaborate with our analytics team to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tasks. You will assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements, developing reports, and creating dashboards using MITS and Birst reporting tools. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has a passion for data, and is looking to build a career in business analysis and intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders to ensure accurate data analysis and reporting. Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain business reports and dashboards using White Cup MITS and Infor Birst reporting tools. Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. Data Modeling: Support the creation and maintenance of data models to ensure accurate and efficient reporting. User Support: Provide support to end-users by addressing reporting and data-related queries and issues. Documentation: Document processes, business requirements, and reporting methodologies to maintain a clear and comprehensive knowledge base. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Basic understanding of business analysis, data analysis, and BI concepts. Familiarity with White Cup MITS and/or Infor Birst reporting tools is a plus. Familiarity with accounting practices is a plus. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.Preferred Skills:
Experience with data visualization tools such as White Cup MITS, Infor Birst, or similar. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Understanding of business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).Benefits:
