Your role

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis and be part of a company that values innovation, collaboration and growth.

As the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be responsible for project accounting, financial monitoring and budgeting/forecasting activities. You will also oversee the Company’s administrative functions.

You will lead with enthusiasm – attracting, retaining, motivating, and inspiring your team.

Responsibilities Manage all aspects of project accounting and revenue recognition. Oversee the administration function within the company, including office operations and lease negotiations, ensuring operational efficiency and excellent customer service. Review and investigate variances, including actual to budgeted results, and forecasts, together with relevant financial and operational analyses to support all reporting requirements. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Collaborate with the business units, departments and senior management to develop fiscal year budgets and forecasts to meet business goals. Provide financial insights and recommendations to provide insights to senior management to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Work with the Financial Reporting team to ensure timely, complete and accurate delivery of financial information and results for monthly and quarterly submissions. Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the team to help them achieve growth and development. Demonstrate and act as a role model and influencer of our values and cultural behaviours. Motivate & inspire your team. Participate in setting the strategy for the teams and ensure the team achieves its goals and objectives. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls. Where applicable, propose improvements to internal controls. Participate in internal and external audits as necessary. Participate in special projects focused on improvement in reporting and analysis. Become a trusted partner with operations. Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management. Qualifications A minimum of 10 years of a related and progressively responsible financial management role. Professional accounting designation. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience leading, mentoring and supervising a team. Experience in business analytics and metrics development. Advanced excel skills. Experience with ERP systems. Public accounting experience with a large to medium professional services firm is an asset. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
