The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Fitness Instructors to lead various group classes including Yoga, Portable Equipment, Choreography/step, Cycle and Dance.

Qualifications

•Candidates must hold current Group Exercise Leadership Certification (Alberta Fitness AFLCA, Canfit-Pro or equivalent).
•We are currently looking for candidates Yoga, Barre, Zumba and Aquafit certifications.
•Applicants must hold current CPR certification.
•Past instructing experience in group setting is preferred.
•We are looking for motivated, dependable, positive and energetic individuals.

Hours of Work

Hours of work are weekday early mornings
(5:30 -6:45 a.m.), mornings (9:00 – 11:00 a.m.), evenings (4:30 – 9 p.m.) and weekends (8:00 - 12:00 pm.)

Compensation

The hourly wage range as a Group/Speciality Fitness Instructors is $30.00- $55.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

A separate wage range will apply for additional positions such as:
Aquatics Fitness Instructor $34.00 - $46.00 per hour
Pilates Instructor $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
Yoga Instructor $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
Zumba Instructor $45.00 - $70.00 per hour

Conditions of Employment

The successful applicant will be required to obtain/maintain a vulnerable sector police information check. The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of educational and professional credentials.
