What Will Make Your Days Exciting as a Inventory Cycle Counting Operator at Bumper to Bumper:
This position will primarily work in the Inventory Department
Maintains inventory integrity by performing cycle counts by location and by item. Investigates inventory descrepancies. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, packaging, quantity or any other inventory related issue and works with team to resolve these issues.
Assist with picking by locating parts, pulling and verifying product numbers listed on pick orders.
Assist with receiving materials verifies quantity; placing materials in stock
Assists with preparing stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, and staging product
Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
Operate powered, mobile / lifting equipment for order picking of bulk items. This position will primarily operate an Order Picker and a Reach Truck
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
What will make you the ideal Inventory Cycle Counting Operator at Bumper to Bumper:
Previous work experience in a similar role is a definitive asset
Must be in good physical condition (ability to stand, walk, sit, and handle parts)
Must be capable of lift parts up to 50 pounds (23kg)
Ability to work with rolling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, carts)
Ability to work with Powered lifting devices such as Order Picker and Reach truck. Experience with Order Picker and Reach Truck is preferred. Must pass practical competency test on all equipment that will be operated (training will be provided if required)
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Possess ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Computer literacy (mandatory)
Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset
Available on occasion to work outside regular business hours
Organized and self disciplined
Task oriented
Diplomatic and tactful in communication
Maintain spirit of cooperation with co-workers.
