We are currently looking for an Inventory Control Lead Hand to join us and be part of our dynamic team.
**LOCATION: 398 Railside Drive, Brampton, ON**
**SHIFT: 6:00AM - 2:30 PM**
**What You'll Do**:
- This is a hands on role; you will be working with your team in the warehouse.
- Assign and prioritize duties in order to meet inventory needs.
- Resolve escalated process issues with the team.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Investigate issues, recommend solutions to resolve and prevent recurrence.
- Analyze current stock levels to identify potential shortages or excesses.
- Conduct cycle counts and verify empty locations. Create cycle count reports.
- Continually monitor Cycle Count Programs to ensure targets are met, customer changes are incorporated, and the integrity of the programs is verifiable.
- Identify and communicate common control opportunities to team to ensure action plans are obtainable, implemented and sustained.
- Investigate, identify, and reconcile cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages and overages.
- Monitor and conduct internal audits. Review the processes with employees to ensure compliance.
- Maintain, evaluate, and cross-reference inventory records daily.
- Act as the liaison between the distribution centers and 3PL Customer Service team on questions and issues regarding inventory control.
- Prepare and provide Inventory Reports and KPI’s to management.
**What You Bring to the Role**:
- College Diploma / University Degree in Facilities Management, Business, Administration or related discipline is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in inventory control, loss prevention, or related field.
- Valid current MHE Operating Certificates for forklift equipment including Raymond Reach, Order Picker, Counterbalance Forklift, Power Walkie.
- Ability to manually lift / carry product / boxes of various sizes up to 50 lbs.
- Prior leadership is an asset.
- GMP, Health Canada and AIB experience are assets.
