Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Desk Adjuster Level 1 to join our team in Canada. The position location is flexible, and we can offer in-office, hybrid or fully remote working arrangements.
The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle commercial and personal lines claims on the desktop using a variety of techniques and systems. The candidate will direct field adjusters on a task basis as required. The candidate will participate in ensuring accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files.
Responsibilities
Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files Evaluates coverage, liability and quantum Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records Negotiates, settles and finalizes claims Work with managers to maintain client relations
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of technical experience in an insurance claims environment, Post-secondary education in an insurance related field working towards full Independent Adjusting License and CIP Designation Knowledge of commercial and personal lines in both Property and Auto PD will be considered an asset Ability to conduct telephone investigations, evaluate, negotiate and settle first and third party commercial lines claims Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed activity, transaction and reserve records Advanced computer skills including Office 365 and Windows 10 Excellent communication skills Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong analytical and mathematical ability French/English Bilingualism would be considered an asset

Résumé de la Position
Nous recrutons actuellement un expert en sinistres de bureau de niveau 1 pour rejoindre notre équipe des lignes commerciales des réclamations internes à disance au Canada . L'emplacement du poste est fleixble et nous pouvons offrir des arrangements de travail au bureau, hybriques ou entièrement à distance.
Le candidat retenu enquêtera, évaluera, négociera et réglera les réclamations des lignes commerciales et personnelles sur le bureau en utilisant diverses techniques et de systèmes. Le candidat dirigera les régleurs sur le terrain en fonction des tâches, au besoin. Le candidat participera à assurer l'exactitude de l'enregistrement, des rapports et de la présentation des dossiers.
Responsabilités
Enquête, collecte et analyse des informations sur les sinistres Enregistrement, rapport et présentation précis des dossiers Évaluation de la couverture, de la responsabilité et du montant Maintien d'une facturation précise ainsi que des dossiers de temps et de dépenses Négociation, règlement et finalisation des sinistres Collaborer avec les responsables pour maintenir les relations avec les clients
Qualifications
1 ans d'expérience technique dans un environnement de réclamations d'assurance Diplôme d'études postsecondaires dans un domaine lié à l'assurance, en vue d'obtenir une licence complète d'expert en sinistree et la désignation CIP La connaissance des lignes commerciales et personnelles, tant en matière des biens et en automobile sera considérée comme un atout Capacité de mener des enquêtes téléphoniques, d'évaluer, de négocier et de régler les réclamations des lignes commerciales de première et de tierce partie Maîtrise de la tenue de dossiers précis et détaillés des activités, des transactions et des réserves Compétences informatiques avancées, y compris Office 365 et Windows 10 Excellentes compétences en communication Avoir un esprit d'équipe avec un engagement fort envers la qualité et le service à la clientèle Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités Solides capacités analytiques et mathématiques Le bilinguisme français/anglais serait considéré comme un atout
