Our Public Sector client is looking for a Senior Finance Project Consultant to join their Team.What we offer:Location: Downtown Toronto Pay: $100/hr. Negotiable depending on experienceStart Date: January 2, 2025, for 6 monthsShift: Days, Monday to Friday – HybridWhat you’ll do:As a Senior Finance Project Consultant, Enterprise Business Systems you will reporting to ERP Business Lead. As a Senior Finance Project Consultant, Enterprise Business Systems you will support and collaborate with the ERP Business lead and the Financial Systems teams during the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) project. This role will provide advisory and consultation to the project based on industry best practices As a Senior Financial Project Consultant, you will: Provide advice and consultation on overall project activities and planning to ensure project objectives and business goals are metAdvise and support on contractual reviews and negotiations with external vendors under the project Attend business requirements workshops to understand business needsReview and advise on technology and functional solution designsProvide support and advice on business process re-design to ensure achievement of business transformation goals and alignment with technology design. Propose improvements to automate business functions, streamline business processes and workflows and make best use of technology to improve effectiveness and user experience for stakeholdersDevelops a thorough understanding of the business goals, transformation needs, business strategies and processes to translate into system functionality and user-requirements to guide designs and development activities Support the development and documentation of project deliverables and project reporting, such as: RAID logs, status reports, etc.Support the Financial Systems team to identify project gaps and risks with mitigation strategiesAssists and supports change management efforts (e.g., managing expectations, training strategy, and risk mitigation strategies) to prepare the business units for successful adoption of system changes to achieve business goalsWhat we’re looking for:Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation Must have experience in implementing OneStream solutions from both FP&A and financial close perspectivesMust have experience leading teams to successfully deploy EPM solutionsMust have experience with Finance transformation projects including business process re-designs and change management Must be excellent in business analysis, technology and problem-solving skillsMust have knowledge of project management principles and practicesOur team is eager to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
