Business group: Cloud & Application Security Product and Architecture
Project: manage very large investment portfolio of the bank relating to cloud acceleration program.

Candidate Value Proposition:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage a very large investment portfolio of the bank relating to the cloud acceleration program.
Exposure to multiple teams of the bank; this is a high visibility role.

Typical Day in Role:
  1. Managing and overseeing entire portfolio investment, including accruals, forecast, spend analysis, resource management, tracking & reporting variances, and management of CAPPM allocations.
  2. Assist Investment Owner to plan, assess, and design the financial reporting and tracking of the portfolio.
  3. Perform trend analysis in support of plans and create reports with insights drawn from the analysis and present when required.
  4. Create/drive the critical metrics for financial reporting on projects and create materials for various management reviews and meetings.
  5. Provide timely and accurate updates to the Investment Owner as required and ensure SLAs are met for status updates, monthly and quarterly reports.
  6. Exercise knowledge of overall business operations, including business processes, cost components, and drivers of these measures.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
  1. 5+ years of experience in a financial management role.
  2. 5+ years of experience in managing portfolio investment, including accruals, forecast, spend analysis, resource management, tracking & reporting variances.
  3. Proficient in Advanced Excel and Clarity PPM.
  4. Understanding of core financial management fundamentals such as capitalization, expense management, trend analysis, etc.
  5. Experience in large scale projects in the financial or banking industry.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
  1. Projects delivery environment.
  2. Knowledge of Client systems preferred.
  3. Top 6 bank experience – Finance, PMO or B Ops teams.
Soft Skills Required:
  1. Outstanding planning and organizational skills.
  2. Good communication skills (Verbal & Written).
  3. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  4. Stakeholder management skills.
Education & Certificates:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or engineering or a Business Degree with a finance focus.

Best VS. Average Candidate:

Proactive approach, structured and organized response, passionate about Financial management and project financials.

Interview process:

1st round with Investment Owner – MS Teams – 60 mins – (Talk about their experience with examples related to the past portfolios they managed).
