Duration: 6 Months Internship (Starting October 2024)

Working Hours : 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Location : Brantford Lab (541 Oak Park Road, Brantford, ON)

During the six month full-time internship, you will be working alongside the team of technicians and engineers in the R&D department in Brantford, ON.

The following are some of the responsibilities a candidate would have:

  • Executing R&D projects under the supervision of the R&D team.
  • Performing laboratory tests for new and existing products.
  • Assisting R&D and Sales teams with their projects (R&D, technical service requests).

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Be in the process of completing a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry degree (or equivalent)
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
  • Be able to work with a team as well as alone
  • Be fluent in English
  • Have basic knowledge of concrete
  • Have experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and have the ability to learn new software
  • Possess strong problem solving skills
  • Possess strong organization skills and be a self-initiator

This is a in-person role - students will work in our lab at the Brantford facility.
