Purpose of the job:

The role of the E&M interface engineer will be to define and manage the interfaces with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Define the system relevant interfaces: interface identification, interface register Define the system interface control documents (ICD), propose the leader of the interface, liaise with subsystems to ensure the production and agreement of the ICD Ensure interface consistency and completeness by reviewing designs and actively participating in requirements management process Manage the detailed interfaces definition identify risks, scope gaps and grey areas and escalate as needed

Educational requirements:

University Degree in engineering Licensed with professional engineers of ontario ( or in progress

Qualifications:

A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in interface engineering Experience in writing interface documents highlighting the technical details of the design Fluent in English Knowledge of the rail construction environment and engineering practices Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication Self motivated, detailed oriented ability to learn new techniques in a changing environment are desired.
